Greg Butler

"Born and raised in Bloomingdale, NJ, Greg entered the United States Naval Academy in 2003 out of High School. He was a pitcher for the varsity baseball team and completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science in May of 2007. Upon graduation, Greg entered the Marine Corps as a Second Lieutenant and went on to the Basic School in Quantico, Virginia before follow on training as a Naval Aviator in Pensacola, Florida. After completing flight training, Greg was assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton in September of 2009 where he went on to fly the AH-1W and AH-1Z “Cobra” attack helicopters. Greg completed two tours of duty supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in 2010-2011 and 2012-2013 as a member of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169, “The World Famous Vipers!” Upon completing his tours of duty, Greg became an instructor pilot at the Fleet Replacement Squadron located at Camp Pendleton, training Naval Aviators fresh out of flight school to fly the AH-1Z “Cobra”.

In 2012, Greg completed studies in Real Estate Principles, Practice, Economics, Appraisal, Property Management, Finance, Brokerage, and Real Estate Law through Allied Real Estate Schools, and obtained his California Real Estate Salesperson License in 2015. Additionally, Greg completed a Master’s Certificate Program in Certified Financial Planning in December of 2015 through the College for Financial Planning.

Greg specializes in Property Management, Residential Real Estate Investments, and Military Relocation. Through his own account as both a military officer, home buyer, tenant, and landlord, Greg is experienced with the nuances of military life, to include VA loans, PCS orders, and the overall military lifestyle. Additionally, he has completed the National Association of Realtors Military Relocation Professional Certification and Property Management Certification.

Greg is guided by a duty to serve and is a motivated hard-charger whose hard work is grounded by doing right by his clients. Greg currently resides in Oceanside, CA, with his wife with his wife, kids and two Goldendoodles. Although not from here, Greg and Ashley have fallen in love with the beautiful weather and fantastic people, and plan on raising their family in San Diego for many years to come!"
