With a population of approximately 110,000 inhabitants, Carlsbad is a beautiful seaside resort city located in the North San Diego County in California. Carlsbad is close to Los Angeles as well as to Downtown San Diego, and it is most commonly known as the “Village by the Sea”. Thousands of tourists from all around the United States travel to Carlsbad every year, not only because of its attractive Mediterranean climate, but also because of the luxurious hotels found here, impeccable beaches, as well as the numerous charity events. Carlsbad Summer Camps

No child will be saying "I'm soooo bored" this summer with as many options are available within the Carlsbad Summer Camps. From Engineering with Legos, Cooking, Soccer, Skateboarding and Surf Camps, there is something for every interest. 

San Diego County Fair
Starting June 2nd to July 4th, 2017 the San Diego County Fair is held at the beautiful, coastal Del Mar Fairgrounds. Rides, the Toyota Concert Series, food, games, exhibits, animals...there is so much fun packed into this month long event. For detailed information click here.

The State Street Farmer’s Market

When it comes to popular Carlsbad events, the State Street Farmer’s Market is certainly one of them – everybody can join the event for free and it takes place right in the heart of the Carlsbad Village. It features a collection of natural, organic wines and foods that are homemade. Also, those who attend the market will also enjoy live entertainment as well as handmade crafts.

      The Art Splash 

Another one of the appealing Carlsbad events is the Art Splash – simply put, this is a free, non-profit family event that lasts for two days and aims to promote the beauty and the benefits of art. During the event, spectators will enjoy chalk art street paintings, entertaining live art with talented artists from all around Southern California who will display and sell their art, a variety of foods, as well as stage performances. The mission of the Art Splash is to raise money for the art and music in North County Schools, as well as to create a friendly environment for art lovers and to promote culture within the community. 

      The Carlsbad Beach Fest

The Beach Fest takes place in June at the Tamarack State Beach and this is an annual celebration of the coastal environmental recreation. This is by far the most popular one of all the Carlsbad events mentioned above, given the fact that no less than 12,000 people are expected to attend the Beach Fest organized in June. There will be a plethora of activities, from sand-sculpting and surf lessons to live music and kite flying – there will even be a massive beach clean-up.The admission is free of charge!

TGIF Concerts in the Park

For over 30 years we have had the privilege of gathering with family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy live music at our beautiful local parks during the summer months. It's a great time for everyone. Check back in May 2017 for the upcoming Summer schedule.

Carlsbad Marathon and Half

Taking place on January 14th, 2018 is the Carlsbad Marathon, half and Kids Marathon Mile at Legoland. The weekend offers a series of events in addition to the actual races such as a Health and Lifestyle Expo. You are not only running a race but giving back to numerous well deserving charities. MS Walk at Legoland 

This year over 3,000 participants crossed the finish line at the MS Walk held at Legoland California. The total amount raised was $407,000 for the event which will increase hope to 51,000 local community members who are battling MS. This is a great opportunity to get involved, have some fun and make a difference it other people's lives.

The bottom line is that Carlsbad events are truly a delight both for the locals and for the tourists. The entire Village by the Sea is beautiful, quiet, yet entertaining at the same time, and it is ideal for those who want to relax away from the noise of the big cities of Los Angeles or San Diego.
