This is what Three Lagoons Realty was named after! In addition to beautiful beaches, parks, and golf courses, we are also so fortunate to enjoy nature & take in stunning views while getting exercise and having fun at these three lagoons. Agua Hedionda, Batiquitos, and Buena Vista are three lagoons that offer over 1000 acres of hiking trails, bird watching, water activities, and nature preserve.

Agua Hedionda Lagoon: This lagoon offers so much variety for the public to enjoy. The 295 acre inner lagoon offers boating, jet skiis, sail boats, kayaking, etc. Permits and rules and regulations must be followed.  The middle lagoon contains 27 acres that is home to the YMCA Aquatic Park. The outer lagoon contains 66 acres and offers shore fishing, is leased to an mussel and oyster aquatic facility all while cooling the power generating plant.

And if that isn't enough there is an amazing 3800 sq. ft. Discovery Center that hosts public programs and outreach activities. Information about the Discovery Center can be found at

Batiquitos Lagoon: Batiquitos Lagoon includes 561 acres of breathtaking views, 1.3 miles long of hiking trails, bird watching, and fishing (permit required). Dogs are allowed on this trail and must be on a leash at all times. There is a Nature Center open to the public. Parts of the trail are adjacent to the award winning Four Seasons Golf Course. Batiquitos Lagoon is a nature perserve is protected by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife. Additional information can be found at

Buena Vista Lagoon: Spanish translation of "good view" the Buena Vista Lagoon is 350 acres of fresh water. The California Fish & Game own Buena Vista Lagoon. There are over 235 species of birds that have been spotted at the lagoon. There is also a Nature Center offering bird watching tours.
